Six in court over heroin charges

Four men and two women have appeared in court in Inverness accused of dealing in heroin in the Highlands.

Martin Stewart, 25, Jane Miller, 26, Terence Boreman, 28, Gemma Robertson, 23, Alan Wiseman, 27, and Leo Allan were all arrested last week.

At Inverness Sheriff Court, all six, who are from the city, made no plea or declaration and were released on bail.

They were arrested, along with six others, as part of a major operation by Northern Constabulary.
