Food and drink festival launched

Highland Feast - the north of Scotland's biggest annual food and drink festival has been launched at Cawdor Castle, near Nairn.

The event marks its tenth anniversary this year.

Last year it drew more than 11,000 visitors and was estimated to have generated £1.7m for the local economy.

Meanwhile, the Captain's Galley in Scrabster has been named top UK seafood restaurant in the latest edition of the Good Food Guide.

Highland Feast events will be held on every weekend during September.
