One dead in two-vehicle accident

Police have confirmed that one person has been killed in a two-vehicle crash on the Isle of Skye.

Two other people, both men, suffered leg and back injuries in the accident which happened on the A87 near Kyleakin at about 2230 BST on Sunday.

They were taken to hospital in Broadford where they are being treated. Officers are keen to speak to the driver of a large, dark-coloured northbound vehicle which was passing the scene around this time.
