Crew in rescue after duke visit

A lifeboat crew was called to rescue a man from Inverness harbour just hours after a visit by the RNLI president, the Duke of Kent.

Kessock helmsman Kenny Foggo and crew members Mark Murison and Dan Holland were paged to the incident at 2100 BST on Thursday.

The man was said to be critically ill in Raigmore Hospital.

Earlier in the day, the Kessock station had been visited by the duke and RNLI chairman Sir Jock Slater.
