A member of the Royal Family has been visiting lifeboat stations in the Highland's, including the new one covering Loch Ness.
RNLI president, the Duke of Kent, started his two-day tour on Thursday.
He was being accompanied by chairman Sir Jock Slater, who will be retiring from his role later this year after five years in the post.
Other stations on the itinerary are Kessock in Inverness, Invergordon, Thurso and Wick.
