The club has sought permission to play golf seven days a week

An attempt to lift a ban on playing golf on Sundays on Lewis, on the Western Isles, has had a set back.
The public landlord, the Stornoway Trust, said it was "not inclined to accept" the application from Stornoway Golf Club.
The restriction was included in the lease of the course out of respect for the Sabbath.
Members of the club's management committee will meet to consider whether to take legal action.
However, the club said it was keen to preserve a harmonious relationship with the trust and had not given up hope that an amicable solution could be found.
