Signage launch points way forward
Author and broadcaster Muriel Gray has officially launched celebrations to mark the revamp of information on the Great Glen Ways routes.

The £200,000 project includes improved way-marking and interpretation boards.

Highland Council managed the scheme in partnership with other agencies, such as British Waterways Scotland and Scottish Natural Heritage (SNH).

The project aims to encourage people to explore the area "by boot, by boat and by bike".
