Call centre staff screened for TB
Staff at a call centre on the Western Isles will be screened for tuberculosis because a pupil diagnosed as having the infection worked there part-time.

The youngster, who attends the Nicolson Institute in Stornoway, Lewis, has been treated and has since recovered.

About 350 fifth and sixth year pupils at the school have been screened.

Due to the fact the teenager also worked at the island's Onetel call centre, workers will be screened for TB as a precaution.
