£5m project to clean up sea loch
Waste water discharges into an important loch for shellfish catches are to end with a £5m clean-up project.

Discharges into Loch Leven from Glencoe and south Ballachulish would be halted by pumping them through a pipeline to a treatment works, Scottish Water said.

Its sewage treatment plant at north Ballachulish was recently expanded.

The plans will be put on public display in the Ballachulish Hotel on 26 February. The project is part of a £200m programme of improvements.
