Report reveals festival spending
Just over £1.1m has been spent out of the £6.8m Highland Council budgeted to spend on a year-long celebration of the region's art and culture.

A report to Thursday's education, culture and sport service committee, said this was "in line with anticipated progress" of a number of projects.

The figure represented spending up to 30 September.

Officers said there had been delays with projects including the Caithness Regional Sports Facility.
