Young snappers focus on community
Young photographers' images chosen for exhibition

Entries to a young photographers' competition will go on show at Inverness Museum and Art Gallery.

Called Hilton Rediscovered, youngsters were encouraged to capture images that reflected the Inverness community.

Those who took part were aged between 11 and 16 and submitted one black and white picture each.

Led by organisation Youth Inclusive, the youngsters were given guidance by professional photographers Andy Duke and Reeaz Mohammed.

Claire Richardson, who co-ordinated the project, said the competition had helped build creative skills and community links.

Katey Boal, learning and access officer at the museum, said: "I am ecstatic that Youth Inclusive and the young people of Hilton wanted to share their views of the city.

"This is something we can all be proud of."

The exhibition runs from 6 November to 12 December.
