Woman rescued from Cromarty Firth
A woman has been rescued from the water at the Cromarty Firth bridge and airlifted to hospital in Inverness.

The Maritime and Coastguard Agency (MCA) was alerted at about 1200 BST and a search and rescue helicopter from RAF Lossiemouth was scrambled.

The Invergordon lifeboat crew was also called to assist.

The rescue co-ordination centre at RAF Kinloss said a person was recovered at 1239 BST and flown to Raigmore Hospital.
