Power line hearing moves to park
Scotland's biggest public inquiry - into the proposed upgrade of the Beauly to Denny power line - has moved to the Cairngorms National Park.

The scheme would see 600 pylons up to 65m (213ft) high replacing the existing transmission line.

Scottish and Southern Energy (SSE) said it was vital to allow renewable energy projects to connect to the grid.

More than 17,000 people have submitted objections. The inquiry is due to continue until the end of the year.
