Radioactive survey at golf course
A golf course near a former nuclear plant in Caithness will be surveyed for radioactive particles.

The UK Atomic Energy Authority (UKAEA) said it would order the work to be done at Reay near Dounreay following a request from its owner.

UKAEA said the greens and tees would be surveyed using hand-held detectors.

Rogue radioactive particles linked to incidents at Dounreay between the 1960s and 1980s have been detected at beaches near the plant.
