Sixteen whisky brands have joined forces to form a new company to promote the produce of coastal distilleries.
The Whisky Coast also involves three tour companies, 18 hotels, restaurants, golf courses and attractions.
The venture has received funding from Highlands and Islands Enterprise (HIE) and VisitScotland.
Launched on Thursday, the campaign will attempt to encourage tourists to spend more time in and around the west of Scotland.
A 30 page brochure and a website - www.whiskycoast.co.uk - have also been created.
The Whisky Coast area stretches from Campbeltown in the south to the Isles of Skye and to Fort William.
A model representing the angel's share, a phrase used in whisky terminology to describe the percentage of whisky lost to the atmosphere during the ageing process, helped to launch the new campaign.
