Officials against superstore plan
A plan for a fourth Tesco supermarket in Inverness has been recommended for refusal by council officials.

Tesco is seeking planning permission for a site in the city's Holm area. The application will be considered by Highland councillors on Tuesday.

The planning assessment by Highland Council officials included a warning that it would draw business away from other district centres.

Proposed are a food store, petrol station, parking and space for a hotel.
