Carbon company to create new jobs
New jobs look set to be created in Ross-shire after a Muir of Ord company secured fresh investment of 22m.

SGL Technic, a subsidiary of German-based SGL Group, said there could be up to 64 new posts.

The company researches, develops and manufactures products made from carbon, graphite and composite materials.

SGL Technic already employs 230 people. The new investment is a result of increasing demand from electronics, aerospace and textiles industries.
