An eight-year-old girl has died after she slipped and fell at a popular Highland beauty spot.
Rebecca Coyle, from Montrave in Fife, had been walking with her two sisters and mother at Steall waterfall, Glen Nevis, when she lost her footing.
Northern Constabulary said she fell about 100ft (30 metres).
The girl's 47-year-old mother and her sisters, who are aged 14 and 16, have been devastated by the tragedy which happened after 1830 BST on Tuesday.
Police have sent a report to the procurator fiscal.

The girl died at the scene. A helicopter from RAF Lossiemouth later flew her body and those with her to Fort William.
Lochaber Mountain Rescue team was also involved in the search.
In a statement, the family said Rebecca fell from a rock at the side of a stream, near to the falls.
They added: "The family are clearly devastated at the sudden and unexpected loss of Rebecca in such tragic circumstances."
