Woman dies following Balloch house fire

A woman has died a week after being critically injured in a fire at her home in West Dunbartonshire.

Aileen Lindsay, 51, was treated for burns and smoke inhalation following the blaze in Lynn Walk, Balloch, on 14 February.

Strathclyde Police said she died at Glasgow Royal Infirmary on Sunday.

Inquiries into the cause of the fire are ongoing and officers have appealed for anyone with information on the incident to contact them.
