Man arrested over pub fight death

A 41-year-old man has been arrested and detained in connection with the death in Glasgow of 45-year-old William Auld, police said.

Mr Auld, of Priesthill Road, Glasgow, died after a disturbance in the Cavendish pub in Nitshill Road about 2315 GMT on Sunday.

Police said they were treating Mr Auld's death as "suspicious".

Relatives are aware and a full report is being submitted to the procurator fiscal.
