Fakes seized during Barras raid

Police have arrested 21 men and women over the alleged sale of counterfeit goods at the Barras Market in Glasgow.

Fake DVDs with a street value of more than £20,000 were seized, along with counterfeit clothing and tobacco, during the raid on Saturday.

The operation involved 80 officers and investigators from Federation Against Copyright Theft (Fact) and the BPI, which represents the UK music industry.

All of those arrested are being held in custody pending further enquiries.
