Masonry falls on busy city street

The masonry fell from a building in Argyle Street

Masonry has fallen from a building on to a busy street in central Glasgow.

It is understood part of a chimney stack fell on to the pavement in Argyle Street.

It came down opposite the Radisson Hotel just before 1300 GMT. No-one was reported to have been injured by the masonry fall.

Strathclyde Police said officers had been alerted to the incident. Arrangements were being made to clear the debris
