The Caledonian Canal featured in the Hollywood film Loch Ness

Iconic film and television locations on Scotland's canals are featured in a new map from British Waterways.
The 137-mile network includes the Forth and Clyde, Union, Caledonian, Crinan, and Monkland canals.
The Caledonian Canal provided one of the backdrops to the film Loch Ness, while the Forth and Clyde canals featured in the movie Young Adam.
The Forth and Clyde canals have also been favourite locations in the long-running STV crime drama Taggart.
The map also includes other film locations across the UK, including 28 Weeks Later, which was filmed around London's Docklands and The Full Monty, with was shot around the Sheffield and Tinsley Canal.
Richard Millar, from British Waterways Scotland, said: "If you only see Scotland's canals on screen, you might be forgiven for thinking the waterways are usually the setting for crime solving or the home of mysterious monsters - but the truth is very different.
"Our local canals are a great everyday place to escape from it all - they can be an outdoor gym, a route to work, a wildlife sanctuary or even a tranquil space to pen the next Hollywood canal blockbuster."
Brian Robinson, from The British Film Institute, added: "Britain's rich heritage of waterways is paralleled by the richness of our film culture. This is a great project which links the two together."
