Cannabis factory found after fire

Police have discovered a cannabis factory after attending a fire in a flat in Glasgow.

Officers were called to the property in Chirnside Road, Hillington, at about 1810 GMT on Monday.

On entering the flat they found about 100 plants with an estimated street vale of £30,000.

Police said it appeared that the blaze had been caused by an electrical fault due to the flat being used as a cannabis factory.
