Delay in boys' murder sentencing

Paul and Jay Ross
The bodies of Paul and Jay Ross were found in a car in East Dunbartonshire

Sentence has been deferred on a man who murdered his two young sons after a "deterioration in his mental state".

Ashok Kalyanjee, 46, admitted killing Paul Ross, six, and Jay, two, during a previous appearance at the High Court in Glasgow.

The bodies of both boys were found at a beauty spot in the Campsie Fells, near Lennoxtown, in May.

Judge Lord Brailsford deferred sentencing on Kalyanjee until January at the High Court in Paisley.
