A woman has gone on trial accused of killing a mother-of-three by knocking her down and repeatedly reversing over her while she lay on the ground.
Rona MacKenzie denies murdering Margaret Borris in Paisley in July.
The High Court in Glasgow heard that Ms Borris had told police she was assaulted by Ms MacKenzie in a separate incident three weeks before she died.
Ms Borris's former partner, James Wandrum, 52, also denies attacking the 39-year-old.
It is alleged that Ms MacKenzie, 45, from Irvine, ran down Ms Borris in a car in King Street, Paisley, on 7 July.
She also pled not guilty to assaulting Paul Wandrum, 20, by striking him with the car, and denied attempting to defeat the ends of justice by trying to dispose of the vehicle by submerging it in water at Threepwood Road, Beith
'Punching and kicking'
In evidence Pc Christine Heatley, 26, said that she took a statement from Ms Borris on 15 June this year.
Pc Heatley read the statement the jury.
In it Ms Borris claimed that James Wandrum stole her bag, took £20 from it and punched and then threatened her.
The court was told that Ms Borris said: "I was halfway up Dalskeith Avenue walking towards the Privies when I heard a car revving its engine.
"A lassie Rona MacKenzie jumped out and just attacked me. She was punching and kicking me. James was standing close by shouting: 'Kill her.'
"James then said: 'That'll do her.' They then said: 'You'd better get the money or we'll kill you.'"
The court was told that Ms Borris was taken to the Royal Alexandra Hospital in Paisley where she had five stitches inserted in a wound in the back of her head.
Medical records
When cross-examined by Mark Stewart QC, Pc Heatley was asked if Ms Borris's medical records mentioned an assault by three people and she replied: "That's correct."
Mr Stewart added: "That's different from what she told you?" and Pc Heatley replied: "She didn't mention a third person."
Ms MacKenzie and Mr Wandrum both deny assaulting Ms Borris in the incident on 14 June.
The victim's brother was among others giving evidence at the first day of the trial.
John Borris, 43, told the court he and his elderly mother now cared for his sister's three children.
The trial before Lady Dorrian continues.
