Appeal over 'wilful fire-raising'

A "wilful fire-raising" attack has caused "tens of thousands of pounds" of damage to a Glasgow business, police have said.

Fire crews were called to Arnold Clark Parts Centre, in the city's Partick area, at about 1920 GMT on Monday.

As a result of the blaze, a number of vehicles were burnt out.

Det Con Thomas Carey of Strathclyde Police said the fire was a "reckless act" and appealed for anyone with information to come forward.
