Man dies after bike bumps his car

Police have appealed for witnesses after the death of man who collapsed on a Glasgow street following an incident involving his car and a cyclist.

The 56-year-old man was sitting in his red Honda Jazz on Great Western Road at about 2300 GMT on Sunday when a cyclist bumped into the car and carried on.

The man got out his vehicle and spoke to people nearby but suddenly collapsed and later died in hospital.

Police said they urgently wanted to trace the cyclist.

A post-mortem examination will take place to establish the exact cause of death.

However, officers were anxious to establish the circumstances leading up to the man becoming unwell.
