Polish teenager killed in crash

A man who died in a road crash in Renfrewshire at the weekend has been named as 18-year-old Polish national Cezary Stankowski.

He was a passenger in a Peugeot car involved in a collision with a Ford Mondeo on Darluith Road, Linwood, at about 0045 BST on Saturday.

Emergency services attended the crash but Mr Stankowski died at the scene.

Police said the teenager's relatives were aware. A report will be sent to the procurator fiscal.
