Firms' success at business awards

Three companies based in Glasgow and Lanarkshire have been successful at the National Business Awards Scotland ceremony held in Glasgow on Thursday.

First Scotrail captured Marketing Strategy of the Year award for its summer leisure campaign.

Uddingston-based Martin Oliver, from Kwik-Fit Financial Services, took the Leadership Award.

Call centre company beCogent, based in Airdrie, won the awards for Business and Employer of the Year.
