Three men in ski-masks were seen running away from the bank

Police are looking for three men after £100,000 was stolen from a bank in the Charing Cross area of Glasgow.

The break-in at the Clydesdale Bank on Woodside Crescent took place between 2215 and 2245 BST on Monday.

A number of canisters containing large sums of cash were stolen after security guards arrived to refill an ATM.

The guards did not see the thieves, but police say three stocky men wearing ski masks were spotted running away from the branch.

Two of the men were carrying a fabric bag between them.

Det Insp Billy Little from Strathclyde Police appealed for anyone with information to come forward.

He said: "I'd like to speak to anyone who may have seen the culprits hanging around the bank prior to 2215 on Monday or anyone who may have seen them running off following the break-in."

The men were described as being in their early 30s, around 5ft 8in to 5ft 10in tall, and were all of stocky build.

One of the men was wearing a black hooded top, black body warmer and combat trousers.
