The home of Celtic manager Gordon Strachan has been broken into, it has been confirmed.
Strachan's home in Bothwell in Lanarkshire was broken into on Wednesday evening.
A spokesperson for Strathclyde Police said the force had been notified of the incident.
Strachan took over from Martin O'Neill as Celtic boss in June 2005. His side are currently battling against Old Firm rivals Rangers for the SPL trophy.
Newspaper reports said Strachan, 51, and his wife Lesley slept through the break-in.
The former Scotland international, who was previously the manager of Coventry City and Southampton, hinted at the incident at a Celtic press conference on Friday.
Asked if he was having sleepless nights because of the close-run championship race against Rangers, he said: "I'm sleeping too well. It'll be self-explanatory in a wee while, I'm sure.
"But I am sleeping too well, trust me."
