A murder inquiry has been launched following the death of a 38-year-old man at a flat in Glasgow.
The man died after a disturbance, involving about 10 people, in a flat on the 22nd floor of a tower block at Taylor Place in the Townhead area.
Two other men, aged 18 and 30, are in a serious condition in hospital following the incident, which spilled on to St James Road at about 0040 BST.
A post-mortem examination will examine the exact cause of the man's death.
Police are carrying out forensic inquiries at the scene and are conducting door-to-door inquiries in the area.
Det Insp Andy McWilliam, leading the investigation, said: "I believe there were around 10 individuals, male and female, involved in the disturbance.
"I would appeal to anyone who may have witnessed the disturbance or who can provide any information which will help us with our enquiries to either phone the incident room or call into the incident caravan and speak to officers personally."
