A 29-year-old man has appeared at Paisley Sheriff Court charged with murder, more than five months after a teenager was shot dead.

Andrew Devlin, 18, from Pollok, Glasgow, died in hospital after the shooting outside Suzy Q's snooker club in Stock Street, Paisley, on 3 August.

Anthony Collins, of no fixed abode, is alleged to have shot the teenager while acting with others unknown.

He made no plea or declaration and was remanded in custody.

Mr Collins was also charged with attempting to murder Gerald O'Doherty, 27, by shooting him.
