Mourners have gathered for the funeral of an engineer who died with two others when a tug boat capsized while towing a cargo vessel on the River Clyde.

Robert Cameron, 65, died when the Flying Phantom sank in December. The other two funerals have taken place.

Mr Cameron's wife Linda said he was "a much loved husband, beloved dad and devoted papa".

A service was held in Killellan Kirk in Houston, Renfrewshire, before interment at Houston Cemetery.

Coastguard collection

Mr Cameron, from Houston, leaves behind two daughters, Lorna and Helen, and a granddaughter, Lucy.

A collection for HM Coastguard was held after the funeral.

Flying Phantom skipper Stephen Humphreys, 33, from Greenock, and Eric Blackley, 57, from Gourock, also died when the boat sank.

Mr Humphreys' funeral was held in Greenock on Monday while a service was held for Mr Blackley on Tuesday.

A fourth man, Brian Aithchison, 37, from Coldingham, was rescued from the water.
