Police divers were called to the water by the Science Centre
The body of a man has been pulled out of the River Clyde in Glasgow by police divers.

Strathclyde Police were called to the riverside at the Science Centre in the Govan area of the city by a member of the public on Wednesday.

Officers who attended the scene called for the Underwater Search Unit to help remove the body from the water.

A police spokeswoman said inquiries into the circumstances surrounding the man's death were at an early stage.
