Strike action affects day centres
Strike action in Glasgow
Unsion members demonstrate outside Glasgow City Chambers
Day centre staff at Scotland's largest local authority are striking over pay and conditions.

Glasgow City Council's drop-in centres for adults and children with disabilities are affected by the indefinite industrial action.

About 200 staff are taking part in the latest in a series of strikes over plans to change pay and pensions.

A council spokesman said it was willing to negotiate but insisted any talks must also include a review of services.

About 800 adults and children use the drop-in day centres.

No talks have been planned and both sides said that a lengthy dispute looked likely.
