Teenage builder crushed to death
A teenage builder has been crushed to death by a pallet of bricks.

Gareth Ritson, 18, died when the pallet fell on him in Troon, Ayrshire, at about 0900 BST. The Health and Safety Executive are investigating.

Police said they understood the bricks were being lifted up by a lorry when they fell. Mr Ritson was pronounced dead at the scene.

He lived in Rowan Place, Troon, and was working for a local building company in Southwood Road.
