Woman arrested over death of man
A 50-year-old woman has been arrested after a man was found dead at a house in Inverclyde.

The 58-year-old man suffered serious injuries during an incident in Cromdale Road, Port Glasgow.

He was taken by ambulance to Inverclyde Royal Hospital in Greenock at about 1745 BST on Monday. He later died.

Police said they were treating the death as suspicious and a post-mortem examination has been arranged. The woman was detained in police custody.
