No staff were injured in the robbery
A robber threatened bank staff with what appeared to be a gun before making off with a four-figure sum.

Police have appealed for witnesses after the man robbed the Royal Bank of Scotland in Dumbarton Road, Glasgow.

Officers said no staff were injured in the attack, which took place at around 1015 BST on Thursday.

The suspect is described as white, in his mid 30s, 6ft tall, of stocky build with short brown hair and sideburns. He was cleanly shaven.

The man left the bank with the cash and was seen running off towards Stewartville Street.

He was wearing a dark blue hooded top, dark jeans, a blue baseball cap and carrying a tan coloured bag with a tan and blue strap.

Det Insp Andy McWilliam at Partick CID said: "I would like to speak to anyone who was in the vicinity of Dumbarton Road around 1015 BST and may have seen the suspect hanging around outside the bank prior to the robbery or running off afterwards."
