Police were called to the demonstration in Cessnock
Police have arrested a man during a demonstration at an immigration office in Glasgow.

About six protesters picketed the Brand Street office in Cessnock.

The group, which claimed it was affiliated to the Unity organisation, said the protest was over recent raids and the detention of children.

A Strathclyde Police spokeswoman said a man had been arrested for a breach of the peace. The protest had finished by 1200 BST.
