Trio in court over fatal shooting

One man died and two were injured in the shooting
Three men have appeared in court after a triple shooting in Glasgow last year in which one man died.

Raymond Anderson, 45, his 21-year-old son Raymond and James McDonald, 33, were arrested in connection with the incident in Lambhill on 6 December.

They have been charged with the murder of Michael Lyons and involvement in the attempted murder of 26-year-old Stephen Lyons and Robert Pickett, 41.

The men made no plea and were remanded in custody at the city's sheriff court.

The three accused were arrested on Friday by officers investigating the shooting at a garage on Balmore Road.

Michael Lyons died after the incident at 1415 GMT on 6 December.

His cousin Stephen Lyons lost a leg and Mr Pickett was also seriously injured.
