Former world boxing champion Scott Harrison has appeared at Glasgow Sheriff Court on a number of charges.

Harrison, 29, from Cambuslang, near Glasgow, denied police assault, resisting arrest, breach of the peace and refusing to leave a pub.

The offences were said to have taken place in the Counting House, in Glasgow city centre, last April.

Co-accused Paul Hinde, 29, and Christopher Lennon, 20, denied related charges. A trial will be held in June.

Both men are charged with a breach of the peace.

Mr Hinde faces a resist arrest charge, while Mr Lennon is accused of another breach of the peace in nearby West Nile Street.

Both men are also charged with refusing to leave the pub.

Harrison was an hour late for his court appearance.
