Cllr White will resign on 20 December

The leader of West Dunbartonshire Council is to resign next week.
Councillor Andy White said he could no longer tolerate the behaviour of two of his fellow Labour councillors and some Dumbarton Labour Party members.
Cllr White alleged he had been subject to vindictive and personal abuse by some politicians after investing resources in schools in Clydebank.
He will formally step down at a meeting next week when the local authority said a new leader would be appointed.
