Theatre company funding restored
A Scottish theatre company has had its funding reinstated.

Glasgow-based Theatre Babel was one of three companies, including 7:84, to lose long-term funding in a shake-up at the Scottish Arts Council.

The arts council said it would be reinstating Theatre Babel's fixed term funding for one year only. The exact level of grant has still to be agreed.

Last month, Ayr-based Borderline Theatre Company failed to overturn a decision to axe its funding
