Drug dealer loses crime proceeds
A convicted drug dealer has been stripped of £42,511 under the Proceeds of Crime Act.

Gary Love, 43, from Bishopbriggs, East Dunbartonshire, was convicted and sentenced to 30 months in prison at the High Court in Glasgow on 21 February.

A confiscation order was granted and the money will fund good causes.

Det Con Capaldi, of the financial investigation unit, said the act ensured drug dealers were stripped of their "ill-gotten gains".
