Missing father-of-two found dead

Iain Cowie had been missing from home for six weeks
The body of a man who went missing six weeks ago after attending a job interview has been found.

Iain Cowie, 33, from Pollok in Glasgow, was last seen on 19 July leaving BAE Systems in Clydebank.

The father-of-two had been seeking a shipyard job with the employer. His family alerted police after he failed to return home.

Mr Cowie's body was found in Drumoyne and police said there were no suspicious circumstances.

A report was being prepared for the procurator fiscal.
