Detectives investigating the murder of a man who was shot a week ago while sitting in his Glasgow home have interviewed motorists and pedestrians.
George Walker, 20, was targeted in Birgidale Terrace, Castlemilk, at 2220 BST on Wednesday, 16 August and died in the Victoria Infirmary.
Exactly a week on, police questioned 100 motorists and members of the public in the area of the shooting.
Senior officers said they were pleased with the response from the community.
People were given a questionnaire and a leaflet appealing for information.
The leaflet showed a picture of a blue Ford Mondeo car found burnt out after the shooting.
Det Supt George Lambie said: "We are currently carrying out enquiries in relation to the recovered vehicle and I would urge any person who saw this car to come forward.
"We are interviewing pedestrians and motorists who may, through habit, travel the same route every week.
"Hopefully, we can jog their memories as they may, unwittingly, have seen something that could prove vital to this investigation."
