Man, 22, charged with path murder

Brian Fay died in hospital after he was found on a walkway

A 22-year-old man has appeared in court charged with the murder of Brian Fay in the Easterhouse area of the city on Saturday morning.

Scott McCurry made no plea or declaration and was remanded in custody when he appeared at Glasgow Sheriff Court on Monday.

Mr Fay, 20, from Easterhouse, was found seriously injured on a path near Auchingill Place.

He was taken to the Royal Infirmary in Glasgow but died later that day.
