'Poor' response to shooting death
George Walker
George Walker died in hospital after he was shot at least twice
Detectives investigating the murder of a 20-year-old man in his own home have described the response from the public as "very poor".

George Walker was shot in Birgidale Terrace in Castlemilk, Glasgow, at about 2200 BST on Wednesday.

An incident caravan has now been set up at the scene of the shooting in an effort to track down the killers.

Mr Walker was shot at least twice, with a handgun, through a window as he sat in his living room watching television.

He was taken to the Victoria Infirmary but died a short time later.

Police want to speak to two men seen in the area at the time of the shooting.

Mr Walker's father, also George, was the victim of a murder bid a year ago.

He was shot in Birgidale Road in Castlemilk in broad daylight. His injuries were not life threatening.
